Decide and Recover
“I’ve witnessed more failure through the cruelty of indecision as opposed to wrong decision itself.” - Unknown
I read this quote months ago… it has echoed within me (like a silent thunder) as I’ve pushed through decision fatigue in the first quarter of this year. Surety thwarts melancholy, though. Soaked deeply into the suggestion of the initial quote is an invitation to the flow of occurrences.
If one has the gall to surf atop the waves of this lifetime with a calm worthy of reward, then reward he gains. But if, instead, one lay bound… constricted by desires contrived through cycles of disappointment, unfulfillment awaits.
There are very few wrong decisions, yet many are tormented by ruminative patterns of delay. Somehow, I’m led to believe that life (itself) holds no miscalculation. Every beautiful occurrence, every pain-laden era… births an opportunity for advancement (and ascent is collective in nature). When one perspective expands, it then becomes prescriptive. When one heart is softened, it then becomes nurturing. When one seed yields to the darkness of soil, it then becomes fruitful.
Surety thwarts melancholy; we are not at the mercy of optimism! Just as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, goodness rests in every outcome. May you acquaint audaciously with risk and reward, drawing impetus from your own track record.
I don’t look like my place of origin. I dare believe the same is true of you.
There exists a time when my imagination was the only safe escape and now my imagination births an abundance of resources.
Decide and recover. DECIDE and RECOVER. Decide and recover.
